I agree with the Statement that Modern Civilization is the blessing of science. Modern man cannot pass a single day without the help of scientific tools and machines. He cannot stride or strive without them.

If we think of starting our days in the morning, we see the time on a wristwatch or a wall clock. This clock is an invention of science. Then from breakfast to going to our office, to performing all the daily activities, we take the help of the scientific machines. Boarding into a bus or a car, sitting under a fan or in an air-conditioned room or doing work on a computer or a typewriter or watching TV, whatever we do from morning till we go to bed, we use tools made by science. Who can deny its contribution to life? Scientists are working hard on Modern Civilization.
Science has made our life easy and comfortable. Today we are living in a highly advanced age of science. Science and technology have revolutionised our life. Today with the gift of science the world has become a global village. With the invention of the computer, internet, mobile phone and satellite TV, a modern man can communicate with the world outside in a fraction of a second. He has broken the barrier of distance. We can talk to a near and dear one at any point in time with the advancement in a telecommunication system. We can watch any sports and musical programme live on TV through satellite connection. Science has done wonders for modern man's life.
Apart from enjoying these facilities latest scientific inventions in the fields of medicines and genetics have brought about revolutionary changes. Transplantation of heart or kidney in a human body can give man a new life. Cloning of productive animals and plants is enriching us to fulfil the growing demand for the necessities of modern man. Scientific machines are also used to forecast weather and natural disasters like cyclones, tornadoes and so on. So, I think it can rightly be said that Modern Civilization is the blessing of science.
