There is some limitation and advantages in both Urban Life and Rural Life. I disagree with the statement that "urban life is better than rural life". It is true that there are some difficulties in rural life. There are no easy means of transport and communication. There are no good schools or hospitals. In spite of all these disadvantages, I prefer country life to town life.

Rural life is natural; Urban life is artificial. In the Rural, we are close to nature. But Urban Life and Rural Life has their own beauty. There are green fields, flowers, and trees all around. There are small rivers, canals, and ponds. People in rural areas are simple-minded and frank. They are generous and hospitable. They are sympathetic to one another. They share others' joys and sorrows. Most of them are illiterate but they are simple and honest. |

One can get fresh things like air, water, environment etc in his own rural area. Milk, butter and other edibles can be found in an unadulterated state. There is absolute peace and quietness. There is no noise pollution. Motor vehicles and machines are seldom seen. Rural life is free from traffic jams. The air and water pollution are much less than those in urban life. There is no hustle and bustle. On the other hand, the chief cause of air pollution in cities is black smoke emitted from buses, trucks, cars, etc. The people of the villages are contented because their demands are few and they are easily satisfied. They are pious and religious. They live in peace and harmony irrespective of their religious beliefs. Social values still prevail in rural life. Younger people show respect to older people and older people also show affection to the younger. On the other hand, the young people show profound respect to their elderly relatives, neighbours and even to unknown people. In a comparison of Urban Life and Rural Life, we can say that rural life is very simple than urban life. Rural life is quite peaceful. Another great attraction of rural life is winter cake. It is also called pitha. Various types of pitha are made during the winter to entertain relatives and guests. So, in my opinion, rural life is better than urban life.
